Donagh Kelly and Kevin Flanagan emerged victorious from Saturday’s WN Nutt & Son and LGC sponsored Dogleap Stages Rally, round six of the Hankook MSA Northern Ireland Stage Rally Championship. Kelly, in his production category Mitsubishi Lancer Evo 9, was perhaps a surprise winner at the eight-stage forestry event. Kenny McKinstry is set to make a return to the Hankook MSA Northern Ireland Stage Rally Championship at the WN Nutt & Son and LGC sponsored Dogleap Stages Rally. The Banbridge driver, who is a multiple Northern Ireland rally champion, has submitted an entry to the Limavady based event, which takes place on Saturday 07 August. McKinstry is expected to drive a Subaru Impreza WRC, which he will also use at this Saturday’s Lurgan Park Rally, where he will be bidding for a record 12th victory. Regulations and entry forms for the 2010 Dogleap Stages Rally, round six of the Hankook MSA Northern Ireland Stage Rally Championship, are available to download. The Maiden City Motor Club event, which is sponsored by WN Nutt & Son and LGC, takes place on Saturday 7 August. Markethill's Darren Gass scored his maiden Hankook Northern Ireland Stage Rally Championship victory on Saturday at round five, the Modern Tyre Service Mourne Rally. The 21-year-old Subaru Impreza WRC driver, who is a former British Junior Rally Champion, stormed into the rally lead after stage two and quickly built a substantial advantage of 45 seconds over John McGlaughlin and Crawford Henderson.
